PRIVACY POLICY — SortInk
The French version is the reference for consumers residing in France if a translation differs.
1. PURPOSE This policy explains how SortInk collects, uses, retains, shares and protects your personal data when you use the SortInk Android mobile application.
SortInk is published by SAS LeadForge. For any question about your data: support@sortink.com.
By using SortInk you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you do not accept it, please do not use the Application.

3. HOSTING The Application and account / Ladder data are hosted in particular via Google Cloud / Firebase and distributed via Google Play.
Primary host: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Some processing may also be carried out by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
4. AUDIENCE AND CHILDREN SortInk is a puzzle game for a general audience. It is not intended for children under 13 (or the higher age required in your country to consent alone to data processing, for example 15 in France for certain digital consents).
If you are a minor under applicable law, you must obtain a parent or guardian's authorisation before using features that require an account or send data online.
If we learn that a child provided personal data in breach of this policy, we will take reasonable steps to delete that data and, where appropriate, close the account.
5. DATA COLLECTED Depending on your use, we may process:
5.1 Account data (Ladder)
When you create or use an account (Google Sign-In or email / password): Firebase UID, email address, display name shown on the leaderboard, profile photo supplied by the sign-in provider (for example Google) if available, account creation date and authentication events.
Solo mode may be used without an account until you access Ladder, which requires authentication.
5.2 Game and progress data
Solo progress (completed levels, gallery, local statistics); Ladder score, ranked-match history, displayed rank; preferences (language, audio settings, relics equipped in Ladder); no-ads purchase status and sync timestamps.
Part of this data is stored locally on your device (for example SharedPreferences). Ladder and account data may be stored on our servers (Firebase / Cloud Firestore).
5.3 Advertising data
Unless you purchased the no-ads option, SortInk may show a banner and rewarded video ads.
We and our advertising partners may process: device advertising identifiers (for example GAID / Advertising ID); advertising consent and privacy choices (via Google UMP and, where applicable, partners); ad events (banner display, rewarded-video completion, load failure); technical information needed for measurement, ad-fraud prevention and in-game reward validation.
Google AdMob: SortInk uses Google AdMob for banners and rewarded ads. AdMob may use mediation partners. Google processes data under https://policies.google.com/privacy
Meta (Facebook) advertising SDK: SortInk integrates or may integrate the Meta (Facebook) SDK for serving, measuring or optimising ads. 5.4 In-app purchase data
For the lifetime no-ads purchase via Google Play: transaction ID, purchase status, product SKU. We do not collect your bank details (processed directly by Google Play).
5.5 Technical and security data
Device model, Android version, Application version; technical identifiers, error and diagnostic logs; IP address (directly or via providers); anti-abuse, anti-cheat and anti-fraud signals (especially for Ladder); server request timestamps.
5.6 Data we do not collect on purpose
SortInk does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, SMS or GPS location to function.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Under some laws (for example certain US state laws), sharing with advertising partners for personalised ads may be treated as a "share". You can refuse via UMP, device settings and the links above.
6. PURPOSES We process data to: provide Solo and Ladder, save progress and run the leaderboard; authenticate and secure the account; show the public top 100; serve banner and rewarded ads, measure them and validate in-game rewards; verify the no-ads status; prevent cheating and abuse; answer support requests at support@sortink.com; meet legal duties; fix bugs and improve stability.
SortInk does not take automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you within the meaning of GDPR article 22.
7. LEGAL BASES Depending on the case: performance of the contract (providing SortInk, account, Ladder, purchases); legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, anti-cheat, technical improvement); consent (personalised ads or advertising measurement where the law requires it: UMP banner, Meta/Google settings); legal obligation (accounting retention or response to authorities).
You may withdraw advertising consent at any time via the options in the Application or your device settings, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
8. SHARING AND PROCESSORS We share data only with providers strictly needed to run SortInk, in particular: - Google (Firebase, Auth, Firestore): authentication, cloud database, infrastructure - Google Play / Google Play Billing: in-app purchases, licence checks - Google AdMob: banners, rewarded ads, UMP consent, mediation - Meta (Facebook): advertising SDK, measurement and ad delivery - Google Sign-In: sign-in with a Google account
These providers act as processors or independent controllers under their own terms. We limit shared data to what is necessary.
We do not sell your personal data.
9. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS Some providers (Google, Meta and others) may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, certifications, supplementary measures) under the GDPR and applicable law.
10. RETENTION Active account: for the life of the account. Ladder data: while the account exists, then deletion or anonymisation. Local Solo data: on the device until uninstall or reset. Technical logs: a limited period, generally a few months. Accounting / purchase data: as required by law (for example 10 years in France for certain records). After account deletion: deletion or anonymisation within 30 days, unless the law requires otherwise.
11. SECURITY We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access control, environment separation, logging, limited administrator access. No electronic transmission or storage is fully secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a data breach presents a risk to your rights, we will notify the authorities and/or the persons concerned when the law requires it.
12. PUBLIC LEADERBOARD By joining Ladder you accept that your display name and score may appear in a leaderboard visible to other players (top 100). Do not choose a name that contains sensitive personal data (full real name, contact details, etc.).
13. ADVERTISING AND CHOICES Unless you have the no-ads option: a banner may appear in the interface; rewarded videos may be triggered by a game action (ADS vial) for an in-game benefit.
Where the law requires it (in particular EEA/UK), a consent banner (for example Google UMP) lets you accept or refuse personalised advertising.

The lifetime no-ads purchase removes banners and rewarded ads from SortInk. Minimal technical processing may remain (for example Google Play licence checks).
14. YOUR RIGHTS Under the GDPR and, where applicable, other laws (including certain US state laws), you have in particular: access; rectification; erasure; restriction; objection; portability of data you provided, where applicable; withdrawal of consent for consent-based processing; and under applicable US laws: the right to know, delete, and opt out of "sale" or "share" for advertising.

Response time: 1 month (extendable by 2 months if needed, with notice).
15. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION You can delete your account from the Application (Account / Ladder), subject to security checks (for example a password for an email account).
Deletion includes: deletion of your profile and Ladder data on our servers; loss of your score and leaderboard place; possible retention of anonymised data or legally required logs.
Local Solo mode on the device may remain until you uninstall or reset the Application.

16. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES The mobile Application does not use classic web browsing cookies. Technical and advertising identifiers (SDKs) may be stored or read on your device by our providers (Google, Meta) under their own policies.
17. UPDATES We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, security or product changes (for example adding an advertising partner). The "Last updated" date will change. For a material change we may notify you in the Application or on sortink.com.
18. COMPLAINTS If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
